On February 6, 1927 Larry Mitchell Brady was born in Garibaldi, OR, to Dane and Mildred (Bergerson) Brady. Three siblings followed, Terry, Beverly and Dane Allan. He was raised and received his education in Vernonia surrounded by the Brady and Bergerson families.

He married Betty Hall in 1945. They had three children, Judi, Danny and Kelly and lived on Keasey Route before moving to Randle, Washington shortly after the death of his mother. He worked in the logging industry in Randle and in 1961 was killed in a logging accident at the young age of 34.

Larry enjoyed fishing and hunting and there are still family stories being told regarding his hunting expeditions.
